haha nice one Ben... the pump is oem type.. i know its right

ok so heres the news so far

MAF= checked out ok as per man specs

IAT checked resistance cold and hot and its ok

MAP sensor readings are good KOEO.. changes voltage while vacuum is applied with vacuum pump

02 sensor switching properly between 0-1v

TPS voltage at idle is .9v and 4.55 at WOT

CAS is in correctly.. did it like 10 times and checked timing with green connector grounded and its still off O_o

these are all readings at sensors... goin to the ecu right now
No vacuum leaks

Tried moving the dash spot and it got better but still kinda funky?

Should i just leave it running and try to drive it?

ok.... all the readings i got at the sensor were the same at the ECU

I performed voltage drops and checked the grounds and they all seem to be ok

I removed the plate on the bell housing and spun the motor by hand till i could see the part of the flywheel that gets narrow... as I saw it.. the yellow leading mark was at the pointer...

I noticed my oil presure was low, however we accidently left it unplugged on the initail start up and the oil psi was all the way up? we hooked it up and now its super low? it has plenty of oil... its the same sending unit as we had prior to the new engine...

anything else?

ok so.. after i had some time off with the car... we decided to have a go at it again today. I finally got a hold of a fuel pressure gause and hookde it up and guess what?!?!?............ 15 psi wtf?! O_o

the pump maybe has 1000 miles on it! the fuel filter is new... what the hell... it tried giving 12v to the pump while running and nothin... it smoothens out but i think its becuase it only gets like 10v @ idle... so what im asking is... should i buy another pump or... is there any like pump resistor or anything else i should check before i buy a new pump...

any input is welcome. thanks to everyone whos helped

yes, underneath the dash, there is a green relay ( for s4 i dont know about s5's but maybe its the same ) also i found out from my fuel sending unit that i was getting ungodly amounts of resistance from the old wires so i just welded/bolted up some new wires onto the sending unit again and it works like a charm. its probably to much resistance and whats causing bad readings.

ok.... so... we finally got it... i crimped the fuel return line to see how much psi we build up and got 15psi with KOEO. I suspected a bad pump anyway but never checked it because its fairly new... POS! we swapped out his pump with my FD denso 285 and voala!! engine runs like a champ!! im so fkn tired of this car.

I want to say thanks to everyone who has helped and everyone who has fallowed us on this **** as build. Looking back now it was fun but the headaches are a pain in the ***!! ive got a few more pics but the videos will have to wait cuz we cant find the Video Flip to upload them to the cpu... enjoy and thanks again

Another thing I hate changing is the fuel filter on the engine bay. I got gasoline all over my face...

Lol dude thats why you depressurize the system before you take it off! Next time just unplug the egi fuses when its running.

Its pretty funny how RX7s seem to know that you're doing something else on the car and its all like "Muahahhaha I'm gonna make the fuel pump crap out and you'll never know." Its like a little gremlin is in there just waiting to break your *****.
