taillights and stuff dont work

taillights and stuff dont work

im about to buy a 91 TII and the guy says the taillights,seatbelts, and radio dont work. i was just wondering if it could be just a fuse or something all the way to the ECU. sense the stupid search is being retarded i couldnt really search. thanks

yeah that happenned to me the other day
its ur headlight switch
go to the junkyard and change the harness
i did this like two days ago.....the lights around the car including the taillights and the interior lights like the sadh and the radio wouldnt lite up...i have an NA s4 but thats what im betting.....take the cluster out and look at the switch and the harness...and replace both...and mine have worked great since

91 T2s are hard to find. If it is in good running condition, buy it, and we'll help you figure out the electrical gremlins.

If the lights in the gauges and the taillights wont light up then it is the illumination fuse. That is said that the brake lights work. -Gabe

he says that the lights dont work at all. not even the brake lights. i assume the headlights work. but the radio and seat belts dotn work either. i hope its just some fuses

It could very well be more than fuses, but don't let that stop you from buying it. It's leverage for haggling.

When my HL switch went TU only my dash/tail/marker lights didn't work. Those switches (actually the design of the circuit) can be a problem. If it is, just take the taillight load off of it with a relay.

the talilights dont work at all though. when u break they dont turn on.
