T2 ECU box code?

Are the N332 and N333 the stock s4 turbo 2 ECU? Am i missing any other ones?

I thought the N333 was the S5.

so the n332 is the only s4 t2 ecu? They had a n333 for sel on ebay saying it was a s4.

The N332 is for the US spec 87-87.5 Turbo
The N333 is for the US spec 87.5 - 88 Turbo

are they cross compatable? As in i have a 88 T2motor but get the N332. will it work?

Yes. N332 will work in both and N333 will work in both. They are both S4 TII ECUs.

The first 3 digits are the important ones... they reference the engines wiring.

So a N332 would be replaceable for a N333 (really the only difference between the two is one is designed for stauration injectors, while the other is designed for peak and hold injectors- pretty much the same otherwise).

Even a N338 would plug in and work. See First 3 digits are the same.

However a N327 (or N326) would not work. Wired different. Different functions. First three digits not the same as a Turbo ECU. Only the first two digits are the same.
