Swapping gears from NA to Turbo trans.
Can I swap the 5th gears from my NA to my turbo tansmissions? This would give me a better cruising gear ratio right?

Coming out of a 91 NA with out VLSD going into an S5 j-spec.

The TII 5th gear is better for cruising than the NA 5th, Ive had both.
It just puts you at a better spot in the powerband.

You can swap the whole transmission, but not just one gear out of the tranny. You're better off with the TII tranny though.

t2 has larger gears than the NA trans, that's why its stronger, and why it wont interchange

gona need the TII flywheel and starter too may also need conversion drive shaft as i recall the the turbos have a bigger input shaft
