i have an 88 vert.

in the process of installing an aftermarket radio, my interior light cut out, security doesnt work, and clock resets when i shut the car off. also when i turn the lights on with the the key in it beeps, then when i turn on my interior light, no beeps. if i mess with the interior light the clock dims and resets again.

i checked all the fuses, and they are good. i reinstall the stock radio, it comes on but no sound out of the speakers. i am lost and need some help.

 

It sounds like something isn't grounded right and or there is some sort of memory wire that is not hooked up.

 

it does all that without a radio even in it. i checked ground. took a voltmeter to the wires.

any ideas?
