i have a few questions and please dnt get mad at me i am a rx7 enthusiast but i have jst come across a v8 conversion kit for my car and i have a donor 5 liter and i do not know a whole lot about rotaries but i know it is relatively cheap to build a 5.0 to some good power and i am a hater of the ugly mustangs in my town and love the rx7 styling . i have seen a few fast rx7 where i live one of them being an 84 that beat my friends talon that runs 12.8 and the rotary had no turbo so i was jst wondering what prices am i lookin at and what motors to swap if rotary cuz mine is dead ? i am lookin at a 12-13 second car plz help

and dnt freak bout the v8 swap thing plz heeh

ok, it would be a lot cheaper, and a lot cooler to just rebuild the rotary... What car do you have ?
Anyone can make a 12 second car.. But can you make a 12 second car run reliably ? That isn't cheap and quick.. it takes time and work..

I don't know much about piston engines, honestly... But I would imagine that 5.0 is heavier than a 1.3 litre 13B.. The car wouldn't handle too well... putting the 5.0 in there would be much more difficult than rebuilding the 13B.. perhaps having someone port it for ya... and do the usual modifications... if Rx7 didn't have a rotary, I probably wouldn't want one... Do a search for anything on the forum and you will find answers for it...
