Never heard of KYC... your probably meant KYB. Both KYB and Tokico struts are quality performance products, with my personal preference being for the KYB Adjustables.

Personally, if it were me and for a street car, I would choose the Suspension techniques springs. Springs rates are well matched to the above-mentioned shocks, they have a nice ride-height, and they are linear-rate springs as opposed to the Eibachs...

AGX's are cheaper than the tokicos plus you can adjust the dampening from under the car rather than having to take off rear speaker covers for the illuminas. I've had both but like my AGX's more. The AGX's also have adjustments of 4 in the front and 8 in the rear while the illuminas have 5 front and 5 rear. Most people have the AGX's with eibach pro kit springs. I did a poll on this a while back.

BTW I have a brand new set of AGX's for sale w/ used pro kit springs. PM for details.

ok i'm too lazy to type up what i just did in a conversation so i'll just post an excerpt form a conversation that i had earlier. you'll get the point.

TheMarlaman: hey do you know that if you don't adjust "adjustable" shocks and springs they can be very very dangerous if your spring rates are off the the car's balance sucks?
TheMarlaman: thus throwing off the car's balance*
RevvinRx7: didn' tknow that
TheMarlaman: yeah i saw something on speed about it. i researced it a little and found out that they were understating it. it can be hella bad for driving it "MIGHT" feel right but you could throw off the balance of the car by 40 percent they said--also backed up by research.
TheMarlaman: they showed examples of a WRX on a 4 point scale and did it poorly and boy the weight changed across the 4 corners big time

Needless to say if you don't know how to adjust spring rates and lack the resources to do so properly, stick with a non adjustable spring and shock setup, it'll be safer AND handle better.

this is for ride height adjustable suspensions though. simple 4 or 8 way adjustable shocks only, do not have enough difference to really screw up the balance much at all. all you can really do with these is adjust them slightly to get the feel and response you want from the car. matching these with "springs" and not adjustable coilovers, will be a perfectly safe setup, without "proper tuning".
