youcould, but you have to cut sheet metal. find a junk unit in a yard somwhere, measure and measure and measure. take all kinds of pics of the one you pull out of the junker and you should be able to intall one.

Do you have any idea of what you are trying to do? It is absolutely not worth your time or the enormous amount of effort you'll need to put into it. Why don't you drive the car with the sunroof or buy one that has a sunroof.

You're wondering why you're not getting responses...

I own a targa 7 (the only) and let me put it this way, im welding the sunroof back in. Its NOT worth the hassle. But YOU'D know right? YOU after all have a targa 7, right? i mean you suggested it . . .

To the original poster. Alot of people actually desire the solid roof 7s for their lighter weight, i'm sure somone could graft in the roof peice if you really wanted. Alot of dealerships did it to the GTUs models to help them sell.

Personally id keep it the way it is. But thats me. I've been to the edge, and i'm stepping back, no more targa 7

Could you? Yes. Easily? No.

The roof structure between the sunroof and flat roof cars is totally different.

Much easier to install an aftermarket sunroof.
