Stupid Question: SS lines as Intercooler line?
I'm just thinking about it an the possibility of it's relative ease of fabrication, but it'd probably not withstand the usage right? I'm curious because my experience with it is limited to installing some oil cooler lines of the material, not sure what they're good for otherwise.

You can, but...
1) I've only seen -20 stuff, and that's "only 1-1/4 inches".
2) -20 hose is STUPID expensive! If you find something larger, I can't imagine how much it'll cost!

If you are looking to go cheap... My buddy used that rubber/metal woven exhaust tubing they use on boats for his IC pipes (this is on a third gen as well, dude is retarded cheap) looks like ***, but it functions well!
