Street Porting

For those of you who don't know, my car is down for the count. Im buying a JSpec engine for it and was wondering what I should expect to pay for a mild street port job? I figure I may as well go ahead and do it while Ive got it out. Also, Any of you who have a street port, Is the power that noticeable? Thanks.

If you are going to buy a jspec and then port it you should just buy some basic rebuild parts and check the tolarences in the engine. Unless you are just going to install the engine as is.

If your going to the trouble to buy another engine and then port it why not rebuild your current bad engine and ahve it ported. Unless you need new rotor housings the cost should be less to rebuild your current engine than the j-spec one.

go talk to brian. he does a very good job and i don't think he would charge you too much. It does make a noticeable difference.
