Street Port Q's

When I eventually rebuild my n/a motor - I was wondering if adding a substancial, or even mild street port would require me to upgrade my fuel system or electronics.

Also, I've gotten mixed opinions - is a streetport truely a large gain of whp?

Any opinions are welcome.

You won't need a new fuel system or electronics. The stock N/A system can support over 200hp. You're not going to break that (if you do, not by much) with a streetport.

It depends on your streetport. You could only gain 5hp, or you could gain 30+.

Streetports are like cams. You can get someone that doesn't know what they're doing and only make 10 extra horsepower.

But a streetport with the right modifications to go along with it can take a car that makes 125 to the wheels to 200. It's all about the shape, port timing, bowl, and so on.

On average, from a good builder, what kind of power differences are there between an aggressive street port, a half bridge, and a full bridge?
