block of plates wat to do

what do i have to do to the car if i want to put block off plates and wat do i gain from them. and how much more gas does the car consume

You'll have to remove stuff, remove and cap vaccum lines, remove the UIM to get to a few things.

Car won't consume anymore gas then it would normally.

You gain a cleaner engine bay, loss of a little weight, and some removal of possibly ailing parts (BAC, EGR).

In an emmisions required state you will also fail your next e inspection.

well, there are like 5 block-off plates and 3 or 4 have to do with emissions. so go ahead if you are not going to run any cat. converters. the EGR valve is a bitch since it is under the intake manifold.

gas is neligible.

First go to school and learn how to spell, then see if your state requires emissions testing. If they do, then you can't do the plates and pass.
