bigger injectors.. depending how wild the SP is u may not be able to use the stock ecu with the piggy back

not sure the flow on the fd pump but I know a walbro 255 is the way to go

adjustable pressure regulator would prolly help...

front mount intercooler (dont use the stock tmic)

I guess the real question is what do u want to know.

The upgraded corner seals are probably just FD seals. It's standard practice now to use FD corner seals and springs.

3MM apex seals will be unnecessary unless your rotors are too worn to accept 2MM seals. In practice, 3MM doesn't really provide much more protection against damage from detonation.

You can run the stock turbo if you want, but you will need to make sure to port the wastegate as much as you can to avoid overboost. Don't run it much past 12 PSI. At that level, the stock intercooler really can't handle the heat and the turbo is at it's limit.

You'll need larger secondary injectors and some way to control them.

Yes, it is fun. I'm in the middle of a similar project.

The FD uses the same corner seals as the FC, only the corner seal springs were different. I would hazard a guess that the "upgraded corner seals" are just first gen 3mm corner seals since the rotors are getting milled to 3mm anyway.

The FD did use a higher spring rate for the side seal springs though, and they are an upgrade to consider when putting together a high performance engine.

haha, I forgot my mod list isn't in my sig anymore.

I'm running an '87 TII with 2.5" to 2" Y pipe (no cats), Rtek 1.7 ECU w/ 720cc secondaries, manual boost controller, 255lph fuel pump, SAFC-II (I haven't really tuned yet, I'm waiting until I can pick up a Zeitronix wideband), ported wastegate (DEFINITELY needed). I'm running about 7psi of boost, I'd go higher but my clutch becomes butter in fourth and fifth if I turn the boost up any farther.

Since this motor has somewhat low compression (it may actually be decent, but turns over slow, something I'm going to work on more soon) I'm working on a rebuild. The rebuild will have nice used components, I'm streetporting it, and a key point is that I'll add a beefier clutch. I'll use most everything else I'm already using, I'll go to the 3" Racing Beat exhaust asap, and the stock turbo will stay around for a little while. I'm thinking I should be able to push 230-240rwhp pretty reasonably once I can tune the broken in rebuild.
