Still having problems with car idle and acceleration.
Car has been dieing under any kind of load and it will only idle a short while. AFM is in good shape. The CAS is also good, the TPS is good, the coils are re-grounded and workign good. The battery is charging at 14v when it is idleing. Weird thing is when I rev the car up to 4k it will hold there constant, then if I slowly let off the gas the damn tach starts to bounce and drone, if the car is at idle and I give it a little gas it just dies.
I havent been able to get the timing light to work on the car, but when I take the plugs off and hook a tester to them, they are sparking, all 4 coils. Any suggestions? could my primary injectors not be workign correctly? Also my MOP isnt working but, the MOP is good and there is continuity between the wires and the ECU, have tried 2 different ECU's also, any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!!!

I just had my injectors cleaned and my god what a difference! Idle is flawless now (had both bouncy idle and hot start flood problem).
I am absolutely positive that a very good percentage of the problems listed in our forum are caused by old dirty filthy injectors. The crap that was clogging my injectors was mind boggling that my car ran so dam good beforehand. Injectors are the most overlooked piece of the puzzle in a FI car surprisingly. Most people assume they are ok cause the car runs, but you just have to have em cleaned or replaced to see what you are missing.
Also the stuff you add to the gas tank cannot do a good cleaning whatsoever, it can help "keep" them clean but do little to clean them once they are clogged etc.
Remove them and get a proper job done (also a quick tip if you replace them yourself, dont forget to put some oil on the o rings when reassembling keeps em from pinching and makes a good seal on install. ALSO there is a plastic diffuser right below the injectors in the block that should be removed and cleaned when you take the injectors out of the engine. It pulls out pretty easily, I used a bent strong wire to pull em out. They were as gummed up as the injectors themselves.)
Hope this helps someone out

I did clean the diffusers and everything like that before I put the engine back together. I took the plastic caps off the injectors and wiped them clean, I assume you are talking about a real gud cleaning from rcengineering.com or something. Any other ideas I can check into besides the injector?

Inline fuel filter and the filter in the tank. I'm having power issues and idle issue as well (though not nearly as bad as yours). At the moment i'm down to getting the fuel injectors cleaned.

the in-tank is new, the fuel filter is new... Here are the error codes im getting havent checked the all out yet, but im thinking it may be the wiring harness since so much **** is "broken" errors: 13 26 30 38 could these cause the problems im having?

The thing is that the OMP is good, and there is continuity in the wiring harness, for some reason it just isnt doing anything with it. I also put a j-spec ECU in and when I go put the car in the "on" position the CEL does not come on, and the engine will run about the same but gives me back no error codes. The pressure sensor also works but isnt getting a signal. Im thinking I got 2 dead ECU's on my hands. The other thing is that I was looking for the wire for the split air solenoid valve but there isnt one on my engine. Nor can I find the solenoid (AWS)... Are these absent from j-spec engines?
