Still flooding?
Still flooding?
I had a new motor installed this winter and the motor is running good and strong I'm getting great gas millage with it. However the main reason I had the new motor installed was due to constant flooding on secondary starts (and yes I let the car warm up all the way before turning it off). This problem persists even with the new motor and rebuilt injectors and a new TPS. I had a pressure gauge hooked up to the main fuel line, before it splits off into the separate lines for each injector, to ensure that the injectors were in fact fine. I had the TPS calibrated, and hard wired to the harness to remove a faulty quick connects. This seemed to fix the problem for about two weeks. However last night I went to start the car and flooded up on me after sitting for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
This is what was different last night vs normal use of the car.
I drove the car for over 4 and it got colder after dark, but not below freezing.
What else will cause this kind of constant flooding?
