my car as some of you may know has been giveing me a problem for a while last summer my clutch went out in my 88t2 so i got it replaced and when i got it back i started it and it shook badly so i asked around and after a little bit i found out i had low compression on both rotors i asked a few people and they said that they thouhgt that was what was wrong with it so i drove it up to my dads shop and parked it and forund a motor for it well make a long story short i put the new motor in it and got it to the point where i can drive it and when i started it it still shook and when i drive it when you give it some gas it glugs bucks and hesitates just like it did before the swap also when you shut it off smoke comes from the turbo area , list of what i did was motor and turbo replacement both have about 35000 miles on them so i have no idea what is wrong with my car plz help is it posible its a ecu like its firing lead or somthing

Before you went in and swapped the motor, you should have check if the motor is actually bad meaning what's the compression numbers. If swapping a motor has the same symptoms, obviously it's not the motor.
A lot of people on this forum just blurt out "blown motor" when they hear loosing coolant or shaking engine.
You might have a huge vacuum leak or something that's not too serious.
How bad does it shake? A large vacuum leak will shake the engine pretty bad, an AFM mounted in a weird position, very clogged fuel injectors *or* injectors not firing as it should. While the car is running, go to the ECU and check if there is anything blown. The factory service manual will tell you what each connection should read, either ohms or volts.
