GA starting problem

i went to start my rx7 and all the lights came on but when i cranked it, i heard a loud click and immediately lost power. i took the connectors off teh battery terminals then put them back on but ended with the same scenario, lights, click, no lights and no engine start! Can anyone help? im thinking it may be the spark plugs?

you probably have a dead battery. either that or a dead starter.

go get your battery tested at your local car parts store, if it's dead, buy a charger and try charging it or buy a new battery. that's the first step.

if the 80A fues was blown the lights wouldnt come on at all. my did this over the summer, its a loose neg battier cable, it will draw power to turn on the lights but you try to start it, it draws to much power for the loose conection to carry.

VA hmmm...

first, pull the egi fuse crank it for a few seconds, replace it, then attempt another start up...

if that fails, i'll mention the second solution later...
