starting problem

starting problem

when i went out to start my car after replacing the feul filter and spark plugs it started up, reved to 3500rpm and the rpms slowy go down and then the car dies out. now when i go to start it (turn the key over) everything just dies and i have to go disconect and reconect the battery to get everything on again. any ideas?

does it fire up and die again ?

if it will not fire now I would check that fuel filter. I am not sure if that one is directional or not but it may be in backwards?

im 100% sure its not the fuel filter being on wrong, could it be a bad ground somewere?

im thinking my afm is going or its lose ill have to check that tomorrow...but why would that cause my cars electrical system to go ape shiznit

when i fire up i have to feather the accelerator is that the correct thing to do with a rotor

well tried the heavily unflodding method, she start ran her around the block, came out find, took her for another drive, die in the middle of the road, had to pushed her 4 blocks to get home.. what coudl be the problem?

i had a bad ground on the alt and my afm connection was lose. the battery terminals where also dirty.
