Exclamation Start Bitch!!!!!!

ok its been down for a month and a half my car is a 88 se it has been rebuild and monsterported. i have fuel pressure but no spark. i turned the key the started turned over but did not start. i did this one more time then i saw smoke coming from the black ground on the passanger side firewall. i found out that the big ground that goes between the starter and bellhousing was not on i put it on and checked the firewall ground (it was fine).i took a plug out /w the wire on it and held a screwdriver infront of it and turned the key i did not get anything. my battery keeps going dead could it be another ground or a relay? there is one connection under my dash that is not connected its a male /w a white wire going in it my fuses are good and i dont think its my cas what could it be??? i have gotten a few good suggestions from here but they did not work just thought this post may get me the answer

Uhm...our cars dont have distributors. We have 2 coil packs, and a CAS. If you saw a poof of smoke, then you are getting some spark. Is it cranking normal speed , or very slowly?

Fuses would be a good thing to check if you haven't already.

If you've got the service manual, im sure, it show it somewhere in the electrical system of the car section.
