Has anyone attempted to keep the oil injection but routed it to a separate oil tank? I'm tossing around some idea's in my head and just wanted to see if anyone has any links to a similar project. I have searched but haven't really found anything.

I have 2 ideas one is to keep the OMP but custom make a system to feed the OMP from a separate tank. The reason for me wanting to do this besides premixing is because i would like to keep gas in my gas tank and oil in... an oil tank o.O Seriously though i would like to just have a oil tank that I could fill and just check periodically. Plus I think it would be interesting to do.

The aviation link it says 3rd gen rx7 would this be usable on a 2nd gen motor? Is modification needed or shoyld I go with the DIY 2 stroke link?

Also re-read and it said 3rd gen electric. I have an s5 and was wondering if that I work?

 

I have three cars using a seperate reservoir for the OMP's oil. And I don't use the Rotary Aviation pump either.
