shouldnt be to hard, high po fornt drive cars cant put down any power. i know a guy that has $8,000 into a front drive eclipse, and from what i hear, its a joke.

as long as its a short race, everything should be good...

If its dragging, it would be a tough call. The SRT-4 is very FAST for what it is. Its just as easy and cheap to mod as our TurboII's also.

Quite easily, yes, providing you can tune your secondaries.

I guess they fly pretty well....My question is...Who long can a product made by Chysler last? I could see drive train parts lasting a year or 2 at the most...
If I was you I would do some runs and see what your able to do vs. the mags saying they can run.
Good luck, I hope you smoke that Mopar...

The SRT-4 is a VERY well built car for the money. I read an article on that motor, very good work.

They are farily fast, although in stock form they are easy to beat.

However they are EASY to mod. And can get nasty fast for relatively little money.

Stock the SRT-4 runs 14.1, at least that is what the one I raced at the drags last week did.

Like full exhaust, an intake, and an FCD? That's quite a few mods?

Chrysler products as of late are leading the industry in reliability.. the domestic industry that is. So i don't think it is fair to say that they will break in two years. However they are wicked fast.. in stock form srt-4 vs stock s5 TII would be close however the srt 4 has more torque and hp! so I would be inclined stock for stock you would be beat... however rotaries open up quite nicely with intake and exhaust netting more than the piston SRT-4! so if you have the same mods the TII would win IMHO.
My $0.02

Ya they are a great buy for anyone wanting a decently fast daily driver. Under $20k I believe. And this years are getting LSD too.

I thought this was getting moved...

Anyways, I wouldn't drive one if it was given to me, maybe one trip... Back to the dealer. I don't knock others who drive them, thier choice. I was actually mad at how well they drive and the small price tag, but I wouldn't drive a NEON.

no offense but the only thing NEON in the SRT 4 is the head lights and the frame the rest is unique to the SRT-4! because it is desinged to be an economic performance car! this means that all things NEON aren't NEON that is why it is called SRT-4 and NO NEON SRT-4!
