So how much is the lip and how long is the waiting period? Full CF or CF over fiberglass?

How much negative camber are you running in the rear to get those tires to fit(looks like more than -3*)? Are you using stock trailing arms? If you are, what wheels will the car actually roll on for drag? for road race? I am curious, and have a thousand questions since the concept is not unlike my FC. Perhaps we can compare notes on some aspects of our two cars. What axles do you plan on running with the 250 shot(~600 on spray?) If they will be custom, I may need a set as well. Anyway, nice job, way cleaner than my beast, but then mine is a dedicated track car. Keep up the good work, and please drop me a line when you get a chance, Carl Byck 707-696-2705
Carl, his flares are nowhere near as big as the Tri-Point kits that allow the steamrollers under them.

What engine mount did you use ? Your engine is much lower than mine. Sorry if you already answered this question I didn't fell to read the 7 pages.

BTW, very very nice ride, it's my new wallpaper

I was not sure, but a 17X12 would be near max even with the tripoint. I have 13" slicks on 16x12s, and the tire clears the trailing arm by a 1/2" max at its max section width. I chose a tire whose max section width corresponds directly with the maximum clearance point on the trailing arm. This is why I asked the question about camber, it seem to me they must have used near 5* of negative camber to get the tire to fit (assuming a 335), in which case, what's the point, it's just a show car. Upon acceleration, the car will squat, yeilding even more negative camber, meaning you might as well go back to a 315(11" tire). I wish the guy would respond. Anyway, I think too many people assume a shop car is the ****, when so many(not neccessarily this one), are really for show. case and point, those wheels are designed for straight line only(and the rears at that) according to Bogart, perhaps these were made specially. Hopefully the owner will respond. Carl

Have your raced it?
What do they say about that filler neck?

He has Bogart RT 3 piece wheels (17X12 rear 17X9 1/2" front)

255/40R17 front
295/40R17 rear

The rear has been totally cut out, and the AWR fenders were riveted and glassed into the stock portion.

295s explain it, I assumed he was using a larger tire. My backspacing is 6" in the rear, and 5.5" in the front. I could go alittle larger in the front with a full custom offset, but the reasonable priced 3 piece wheels are only available in 1" increments, so my front is a 16x11 with 6" backspacing, and a 1/2" spacer. basicly -12.5mm offset on an 11" rim. Dave, are the Bogarts ok for turning so far as you know?

What did you use to cover the EMS wiring harness? Looks like some kind of black neoprene covering? Very clean way to do it.

it's legal because the cell has a check valve in it so fuel can only go in and not out.

Thanks for responding.
I figured it did have a check valve as most fuel cells do but was not sure in your case since I have not seen a setup like that.
Props to you.

***pictures fixed...AGAIN ***

The wiring wrap is all Heatshield Products stuff. I used black sleeving right where the wiring goes over the motor (http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...l?v=1&pid=3344) and the silver wrap is where the wiring goes into the car is reflect-a-sleeve (http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...t_a_sleeve?b=1) Really good stuff. I also installed the stealth turbo kit (http://www.speedmachineperformance.c..._turbo_kit?b=1) It comes with the turbo blanket and a downpipe wrap as well in the kit.

All of the wiring inside the car itself is wrapped with a cool chinese fingers type wrap that I got at Fry's electronics. It makes for a really clean install.

The Bogarts are designed as a road race wheel. They are custom made to order, as are all the bogart wheels. The engine mounts are the new designed ones we are about to release. They will be available in Titanium as well

The lip is being produced now. I have a FG one at the shop ready to ship. Cost on the FG lip is $229 and the CF lip is $299. I will add them to our store tonight but there will be a bit of delay on the CF ones, and any of them after the FG one is sold.

yikes, i hate to sound negative... but that is a bit on the ugly side, the hood mirrors and front lip look ok, but the car overall looks like an american car now, it looks like someone tried to take the FC and make it look like an american "muscle car" type.

not trying to bash, just my opinion.

edit: on a side note, do you make the sunroof carbon panels in just a plate so i can remove my sunroof setup?? and how much if yes

I honestly don't like how it came out. A lot more could have been done to "clean" it up. And I really dislike exposed CF. Talk about ***** problems.....
