Question Spark Plug Wires to Coils

89 GTU not certain if spark plug to coil wires are connected correctly. Anyone with suggestions on correct hook up? Pictures etc. Car does not have original spark plug wires.

Let me see if I remember correctly. The leading coil with is the coil towards the front of your car goes on the leading spark plug holes. The wire to the outside of the car goes to the front rotor and the one to the inner part of the car goes to the rear rotor. You can have these 2 swapped and it wont hurt anything since they fire at the same time. The rear coil is obviously is the trailing and is the important one to have correct. The wire towards the front of the car goes to the front rotor and the one to the rear of the car goes to the rear rotor. Hope that answers your question.

The plastic covers over the coils have L1,L2,and T1,T2 stamped in them.

And if you look at the sparkplug holes, you'll se a L or a T next to each plug hole.

1FastT2........explained it first rate. If I tried to explain it you'd end up putting the wires to the tail pipe.

The easy way I remeber the plug holes are as follows

Traling = T top
Leading = L lower

Now for where the wires go see above :-D
