summit sells that stuff too. You can get a square piece and cut it how ever you want. It is not even that expensive. I'm curious to hear what people have to say about this stuff. According to Summit this is a "new product."

I'm sure that the materials have been used for a long time. But this is a new company that is supplying it to masses for a quite affordable price. They offer two different versions with different scratch resistance Although the better stuff is a lot more expensive. Check it out in the "new products" section of the newest summit catalog.

There was some thread around here about replacment windshields. Other than glass replacment.

Somebody made an intresting point that the windshield is acctually part of the cars, "Crashworthiness". Not sure on that if fact or fiction.

Just something to consider.
