spark plug wires

what kind of diffrience should i expect when i swap out my old stock spark plug wires for the msd one im buying off a friend... i dont belive they have ever been replaced. so any ideas...... and do our 2nd gen need a cd spark system like msd or should our ignition should be fine.. ill be hitting around 280 hp

i have made my list from a lot of studying.. i have it hanging on my wall and i am slowly checking it off... i am just at the start now.. just started removing stuff!! if u wanna do your own resarch then we have a thread called... beefy n/a recomendations.. thats where i got most of my ideas.. it will be sweet..... any idea about the wires anybody...

just a spark plug wire change without changing anything connected to them...you probably wont notice anything unless something was seriously wrong with your old wires. if you are adding an ignition sys like an msd then you'd definately want better wires, something with emi surpression (like the ones youre getting)
