Sorry to res an old thread, but I couldn't find the answer I need anywhere on here, I did search. Figured I'd just res this one rather than start a new thread.
Will the wires still fire if the resistance is 20 or 30 kilo-ohms? I have spark to the trailing plugs but not to the leading. I'm pretty sure the coils are good, because they were on my T2 not long ago, swapped them on looking for a different problem. They weren't the problem, and I had the car running last week on both rotors. Now it's not firing the leading plugs. The leading wires are ohming at 20k and 30k ohms. Would that be high enough to keep them from firing? Or is it more likely my CAS that's ohming at 500 ohms?

Yeah after I posted I got the bright idea to check the wires on my T2, 25k ohms and they work fine, so I guess these are fine Shoulda done that first, but oh well. Maybe this will help the next guy searching this problem
