sorry but another vacuum line question

i do have a picture but it is not letting me post it so i will try to describe the line. There are 4 metal line behind the motor right above the down pipe. 3 lines continue around the passenger side of the motor. 1 line has a 45 degree bend towards the rear of the car. I have no line attached here and dont know where it is supposed to go. Any help will be wlcome. I will keep trying the picture. thanks.

Are you talking about the nipples on the back of the throttle body? From top to bottom: top goes to sec. air bleed and second nipple to primary air bleed, 3rd to oil injectors and bottom to brake booster. You need to remove the upper manifold to check if these are hooked up.

nah...i think hes talking more about the metal rats nest. 3 of them go to the acv and i want to say the other one goes to the big round thing that is connected to the manifold. that has the banjo bolt and such? i forget what its called. does that sound right to everyone? or its for the egr

actually is it a turbo or no?

You have a FSM?
Go to www.iluvmyrx7.com and look at the vacuum diagram.

If it's a turbo, it's the vac line for the twin-scroll actuator.

Simple fix: go to the OTHER site and post your picture on its AREA 51. Then copy the location and post that location with your next post.

Even better. Disregard anything you read on this site. Get your fsm out and the FUEL section. Buy a good cigar. Go to each solenoid and pull the output/input hose of each one, one at a time. Blow smoke into each hose one at a time and see where the smoke exits.

EXAMPLE: go to the EGR solenoid. Blow smoke into the hose. See which metal line it exits. That nipple where the smoke exits should have a hose going to......the EGR valve.

The diagrams/schematics that will be posted stating *HERE IS WHERE THE VAC LINES GO* don't and won't cut the mustard. You as an individual need to determine where each metal line goes and WHY. Once found, either make a diagram of your own or MARK each line as to what it is. Maybe color coding each metal nipple for future reference.

Increased turbo lag = slower acceleration from low revs.
