Sooo...my car doesnt exist

I was reading this FAQ post and noticed it says my car ('89 TII) never came white with blue interior. In fact, it says that no turbo models came with blue interior. I had some suspicions that it was repainted at some point, but the blue interior doesnt add up.

So, question is, how reliable is that post? Was it possible for someone to special order a particular color combo?

TIA

FC's are such ****** these days. That car has changed so many hands that my guess is it was probably painted and possibly even had the interior swapped. Any cars that come with that dried blood burgandy interior usually get crushed or swapped out eventually. While most people like to swap to black interior, blue is easier to come by and not as expensive.

Actually I was mistaken, was looking at 90 not 89. It doesnt say what came with what in 89 so I guess anything is possible.

same here, but i think he meant that no 1990s came with blue.

funny, because my friend had a 90 T2, with a blue interior....stock....leather...outside was repainted white though.

I disagree. I find it's harder to obtain blue interior pieces...kinda of like Maroon. Nobody wants it...as a result, they're not as careful with it and stuff breaks.

I like the maroon interior, I actually swapped out my blue for the red.

my car was blue now its white and the inside was blue and now its red.

perfect example of FC whoreage.
