Some questinos reguarding the S4 turbo...
Are you supposed to be able to move the wastegate actuator rod with your hand? if it doesnt move, im assuming its siezed.. And is there anythign that you can remove from the twin scroll system with the s4 turbo? like the switching actuator (what does it do?) anyways, any help would be good.

Yes, you can move it by hand if you have enough force behind it. It's takes quite a bit of force to move it, the easiest way is to use a mityvac w/pressure and pump it to about 6psi and see if it opens.

Yeah with the s4 turbo you need to have that actuator system working as it's part of the twin scroll system. Its all an intergrated design and if its disabled the turbo wont perform well. All i know is that the twin scroll system is used to divert exaust gas flow like to the wastegate and such.
I only removed all that crap after i installed my s5 turbo, and now my car boost's beautifully
