When I hook her up should I take the coolant lines and plug them or bridge them? Still learning the single switch deal... anyone have an 80mm exhaust gasket that goes between the DP and the exhaust housing on the turbo? (make that a square one)
Also looking for opinions on whether I should stick a TA45 on my Streetported motor or a (still trying to find name of it) 64 a/r compressor and 80 a/r exhaust turbo...? the problem w/ the second one is its already ate an Apex seal so the fins have been trimmed back a bit, but it is still usable.
TIA,
Ryker

I took the extra coolant lines out of the water pump and tapped them and put bolts in them. It might be better just to T them for now or cap them off.
the turbo is really a t45s from all the research I have done. there are a lot of cars in Japan running them. I still don't think it's the same as a ta45. It might be similar but the wheels and trims are still diff.
I say go for it an put it on before you make up your mind. I drive my car daily and never have problems with low end power. maybe i am just use to it since I have not had a stock twin car for a few years..
on a side note, I have a brand new gasket you are looking for, I got in on my last trip to Japan.. i was going to see if I could have another one made. I have been using a standard 3 inch 2 bolt gasket on the downpipe and it seems to work fine.

Hey James pm me your number if you think you'll have a few to spare this weekend... I'd like to come and see! I also saw the gasket idea... one of your old posts... I called a guy from a turbo co. and he said he would just send me one to see if it would work. I'm going to order one of those 80mm gaskets anyway. My turbo is missing the studs/bolts that go into the back... do you have the sizes for them? (bolts or studs) how did you put your pipe together once you had the turbo on? did you take it to a exhaust shop to have it bent? And if you feel that you want to get rid of that other gasket let me know!
thanks,
Ryker
