Some pics of the Vert

Well I took the vert over to a freinds house and we attacked it with a industrial buffer for about 3 hours. I couldn't believe the difference. Still have alot of work to go. I posted pics in the SE Regional section, but thought I'd post them here for everone else as well.

Need to get a new top, have a new carpet to put in when top is done, need to redo the seats and fix some interior peices.

If anyone has a spare BBS center cap they don't need, please PM me with a price.

Not bad for a total investment of about $280. (tax, tag and first tank of gas, car was free)

Later,
Bill

The corner pockets behind the doors are ripped through, and the stitching at the seems is coming apart, and a couple of small holes forward of the rear window. Car was sitting under some bushes for about 6-8 months. Got most of it cleaned up, all the sap off the paint, but the top is toast.

THat does not prevent us from riding with the top down though!!

Surprisingly, there is no rust in the car except for the exhaust system which needs to be replaced.

Bill

Couple more pics: The top is like this on both sides. and someone backed into the rear corner and broke the side marker lens and the edge of the tail light bezel. Don't know how they missed the body.

With the blacked out tail lights, do you think I should paint the tail light bezel red (body color), or leave them black?

Bill
