hey guys, i dont know whats wrong but whenever i tried to redline my gxl, the car vibrates like an earthquake, before i even hit 7k.....any idea what's wrong?

 

Something is either broken or unbalanced in the drivetrain.

 

this only happens when i try to redline, otherwise the car shifts and runs fine.....

 

This is not in neutral right??? Only when in gear and on the road?

 

my u-joint snapped when i had symptoms like this. going down the road. the dash would shake and vibrate badly. it was like a very bad wheelhop. later on the day it snapped while i was going down the road. the driveshaft was bouncing around so bad my center console jumped about an inch up and down. lol. everythings fine now tho b/c ive checked it out and replaced the driveshaft.

no its worst in nuetral....in nuetral it starts shaking at 4-4.5k rpm, but while in gear, it doesnt start until well above 6k
