thanks for posing the pics imprezed. i'm doing the same set-up as soon as i can find some 550cc's fuel injectors and a fuel pump. a couple of questions though:

1: besides the port matching of the LIM, were there any other problems that came up? (i.e. porting something else, drill and tapped, etc)
2: i havent ported my LIM yet cuz my dad told me to be weary of the coolant passeges though it looks like i dont need to worry about it. are there any to worry about?

thanks again for the post. it looks great. can't wait to do mines. anyone here selling fuel injectors?

In regards to port matching the TII manifold. There isn't much to port match at all, the wall is very thin where you are trying to expand it, and airflow is not at its best for the 5/6 ports. You can't port match it perfectly, but its still totally worth it.

ok here's a good question for you, how do you route all the vacuum lins and BAC, ACV all those shitty little monsters up? anyone anyone?, i highly plan on using TII manifols when i turbo my engine, but i still plan on keeping my power steering and A/C (i live in ARizona not having your A/C in the summer time is like asking to stink like high hell, and die that way!!) i want to route all the lines up, i'll but that hose techniques stuff, but i need to know what going to work and what won't my car must be fully functional, and if possible using the factory computer with low boost until i can afford one of them fancy haltech's or whatever is recommended, i know i'm kinda thread jacking but it has to do with this subject and i'm sure you didn't want me to open a new thread on N/A>Turbo conversions now did you?

I'm working on the whole setup right now, was doing the porting on the lower intake manifold earlier till my dremal died, will be getting it replaced soon.

As far as other problems, well coolant supply and oil supply are two problems i'm having right now. oh and also finding injectors to work.

What exactly do you want to know? With N/A manifolds the ACV will have to be removed, then you can pretty much run air to the cat always.

have you've tried looking through the FSM and compared the 2 set-ups?

Steal coolant from the back of the waterpump and return it to the nipple on the rear iron. Steal oil fom the oil filter pedistal, and dump it back into the front cover (going to the oil pan is just not a very good idea, imho)

well i was thinking of getting the oil supplt from where a stock tii gets it but theres a braqss plug in the way. the oil return i am running like the stock s5 tII throught the front cover.

the coolant supply i was thinking about getting from the rear nipple on the block that would run to the throttle body or the heater hose outlet on the block, the return i was going to run back intot he water housing the stock way, got tii water housing.

Hey sonic, I had used the filter pedestal to get oil feed for my 6 port turbo, I was curios, did you put a restrictor in the feed line to the turbo? What size hose did you use?

I am pretty sure that extra oil led to the demise of my turbo last year. When I redo it this year with a new turbo, I will restrict the line, just curious if anyone has done that.

I haven't used a restrictor, but then again I'm using mostly stock lines for my run, so, maybe I'm using the stock one and don't know it?

ok i will be getting my fuel injectors tomorow and all my gaskets i need, i will be starting to install everthing tomorow night onto sat morning. will take me a while still till i get it running considering i still need to buy some more tings, like bov, piping, intercooler etc. I will be taking pictures of the whole install, will be using my camera phone since it takes excellent pictures, better than my digital camera and battery last 10 times longer.

I should be able to get everthing on except the upper intake manifold since i'm still awaiting fuel rails. Well back to working on it. I will have pictures up tomorow.
