thanks!now the afm, does it plug right into the n/a harness? why did you fit the secondarie fuel rail to it? more fuel?and i could prob. figure out how to fit the fcd to it by reasearching. thanks so much, i have about 90% of this sitting in my bedroom except im using a spacer instead of the tII intake manifolds.so your not running the knock sensor? did you just retard the timing youself?im gonna start at stock boost to get used to tuning with my wideband and safcII, then after a while and my centerforce clutch gets broke in ill throw in the tII ecu and such and slowly turn boost up with an ebc. thanks so much for the info.! any more tips! im hopin next weekend i can throw this together as soon as i get my parts i ordered and some silicone vaccum lines.

the ecu can be used with either, what tells the imp for the injectors is if there is any resistors in the wiring

Eh, no. It was a bit of, well, here's my setup, everybody commenting/suggesting/arguing/etc, then the couple pages when he said oh **** it went kaboom and everyone suggesting why/etc, then the new engine, and then the new kaboom, and a repeat of above, followed by for sale.

Well, since it went kaboom, then I would say this thread is now over. All further for sale enquiries should be posted in the appropriate forum, or sent via PM.

Quick Questions:

1 do you think that perhaps the engines kept popping because you were going a little too overboard? You were throwing parts at your car like crazy and driving it untuned.... I have read this entire post about 3 times now, it seems like regardless how much $ in parts you throw at the car if the car isn't tuned properly you are asking for trouble. Here is the setup that I am installing (has been on once but pulled it for the front mount install.

Low mileage stockport 6port motor
S5 T2 manifolds (modified as yours are)
S5 turbo/wastegate
2.5 inch RB DP
T2 fuel pump
hks BOV
custom intake
T2 secondaries

What will be the difference between my setup running modest boost lev els (6-8psi) and NOT blowing the motor, and your setup boostcreeping running untuned and dying...?

Actually before i blew mine up i had it pretty close tune with the safc, it blew the motor cause the air flow meter shorted out and was causing it to run stupid lean. Please look for my new post for the new setup which is about done.

Lol... Yeah I guess. Hope that 5 minutes is worth it though..

I mean no disrespect, I have used your thread as a guide to install. I just was hoping that you had figured out what made his car so unstable..

My setup was prefically stable, pushing the limits of everthing but stable, the reason of the blown motor was the shorted out AFM from when i sucked in like 20 gallons of water in a very bad rainstorm.

seriously, his car ran damn good. as he said it did not blow up because of the tune or even because of the turbo setup... the afm was annihilated from a short out. he literally did suck in about 20 gallons of water during that storm ahahahha, DAMNIT that sucked!

Did you use a knock sensor or not? A couple people kept asking but no answer.
Knock sensor or manually retard timing?
