solenoid identification help....

hey i was wondering if somebody could tell me what each solenoid does on the s/5 n/a automatic.... you know the solenoids that are connected to the vac rack that normally get removed with the rats nest removal

from RR website i think....

brown = 5th and 6th ports
white = VDI

what are the rest of them?

thanks
april

the reason i want to know is i pull codes 25 30 31 32 33 on my car after the rats nest removal... i want to know if any of those control the idle of the car when the a/c is on... my car idles fine and all for the most part, but when in gear and the a/c on it dies every time when stopped....

Presure regilator soleniod valve - Orange
Switching siliniod valve - Grey
Relief solenoid valve - Blue
Twin scroll turbo charger soleniod valve - Green
EGR solenoid valve - Yellow
silinoid valve 6pi - Brown
VDI - White
It could be your air bypass relay or air buypass silinoid valve

edit:
VDI: veriable Dynamic intake
6pi: 6-port induction
PRC: pressure regulator control
are at your TB on a A/T

Keep your VDI and 6-ports solenoids and throw the rest of them away! :P

k thanks guys.... i guess none of that really has anything to do with the a/c ..... is there any kind of solenoids or switches that help the idle when the a/c is on BESIDES THE BAC? im really having a hard time with this car and the idle when the a/c is on

thanks

BACV, ABSV and the adjustments on the TB

Check your timing! If the timing of the engin is off and you put it under more of a load it will drag the RPM down and stall out and not run right.
