I have never had a problem with my seven smoking, but I've had two people who have followed me say that my car smokes a little when I shift from 1st to 2nd. My buddy said it wasn't that bad, just a puf came out of the driver's side when I did this. Is this a bad thing? I mean, I know of a lot of sevens that smoke all the time, so I dunno. Wankel7's '86 smokes at redline all the time and its got 175K miles on it....

 

my 86 used to do that...it kept getting worse so i took it into a shop and they put a new oil hose on...tightened some screws and ties and for 20$ its never done it to me again
