FC is best valued RX7 / used car?
I often see FCs selling for $3-5k. To me, that's really low for a nice sports car. My 88' Buick Park Ave can be sold for about $3k and a 86' Civic sometimes go for $4k.
Obviously, this depends on condition and the trim. I know the 10th annivery are rare and the later GTU are very sporty. Obviously, the TII are the fastest FC. Don't forget the GXL for the masses and the vert for the spoiled! Overall, I would think such a strong and reliable car would cost at least $7-10.

Its a point I have said for many years now. The 87 & 88 Turbo's are quite simply the best sports car value their is! With not much in mods you can be smoking many other much higher priced cars! Yet, it will still handle better and to me, look better as well! I got my current 88 Black Beauty T2 so cheap, I now have a Bonez DP & MP with a single exhaust & a SS 3A Racing muffler, along with my intake. To go with these fluid changes: Coolant, gear & tranny to sythetic's, along with a new fuel filter put on yesterday and I doubt I have $3k in it yet!

The emaculent and prestine ones definitly hold their value allot more than you think (and that's real world not bluebook).
I've been trying to find a cheap 89-92 mica blue convertible as a daily and keep my 92 TII as a weekend car. I'm still looking
Don't know why - but all used mazdas seem to have lots of performance, luxury, and reliable value for much less than most other used cars. Bought my 89 Mazda 929 for like $4000 with 83K miles and it's STILL going at 165K.
And look at the older protege's still on the road. The miata's getting cheap too.
Mazda's really been kicking butt lately and they still have more models on the way.
Here's my fav lately:

Mazda makes great cars that are affordable...I think it's because they don't have the 'prestige' of Honda, Toyota, etc. Mazda is kinda the underdog of the Japanese car manufacturers, thusly making their cars a bit cheaper on the used market.
