aight got me another car 88 vert when the car is cold if i go over bout 3500 RPM smoke starts coming out and when warmed up 5000 give or take and its alot of smoke motor only has 14K on it any ideas i think its oil but not 100% sure wondering if anyone has come across this

 

Why are you revving it that high when the engine is still cold?

shifting gears the car is jumpy if i shift at 2K

 

no idea? come on guys throw me a bone i want to get this car in tip top

 

Start by pulling & checking the plugs for oil or coolant.

While they're out check the compression.

 

Then do a full tune-up.
