Smoke every now and then??
Ok so i cant seem to keep from not having issues with my car. How ever i fixed alot of the issues it was having. Put new plugs and wires on it. Changed out the alt with a new one. Drained the fuel which was ale colored and smelt nothing like fuel. Changed the oil and filter. Ive done everything i could think to do. Im replacing the fuel filter in 20 minutes. The spark plugs are no longer covered in fuel and i even replaced the clutch.
Now to my problem. If i let the car sit for a while (hours) and start it up it will leave a alot of white smoke, but it only does it every now and then its not a constant thing. I was messing with it yesterday and drove it for a bit there was no smoke. but once i let it sit went back out and started it up again the smoke poured out. It cant be a bad seal can it?? There is no oil in the coolent and vise-virsa. When i changed the oil it was black as night but no coolent or anything. I have yet to do a compression test. But its got alot of power and the only "mods" done was the cat was takin off and the mufflers were takin out and its 2 1/2 piping all the way to the back with y pipe and no bends anywhere and that was a previous owner thing. So can anyone tell me why its dumping smoke only at certian times. Also i cant tell when its warmed up cuz my coolent sensor is broke off completely. So if anyone can give me an idea as to what this is it would be very helpful. Im tryin to sell it and i cant sell it with it dumping smoke like that. Oh and my TPS sensor has craped out on me.

Well take off the rad cap and see if it bubbles, how much does it smoke? About 10 mins or more? What oil are you running? Is your oil pressure 15-25 idle and 50-60 revved up?
When I had low oil compression (Caused by the wrong type of oil) my car smoked white tons (Coolent) the rad cap also was bubbling (Sign of failed seal) I noticed there was gas in my oil (blowby) changed the oil good, raised the compression I noticed first, then I noticed my coolent problem went away.
White smoke is normal esp when its cold, mine will puff out white for about 5 mins when its 60-70f outside, when its higher it starts with no smoke, then just puffs alil white smoke for a few seconds.

I had gas in my oil thats why i changed it im runnin syntethic(sp?) now. But the rad cap dont bubble or anything. So should i change my oil again?? also someone said i should try running mixed fuel, would that help any??
You don't need to change the oil unless its really contaminated with gas, or at X mile intervals, mine hasn't been changed in 2k miles so far.
Smell the exhaust when its smoking, sweet or gasoline smelling? Is it a WHITE like steam or grayish?
The white smoke on startup could be leakly injectors I suppose but then I'd think it would have a harder time starting, grayish smoke is too much gas, stinks really bad (should hurt your eyes if I recall). If it's coolent it'll smell deliciously sweet and that'd be from your coolent seals seeping some coolent while the engine is off which if I recall is a sign of weakening coolent seals. If theres no bubbling and it doesn't smell like gas, your fine.

Ok. It dont smell at all really but it throws out alot of smoke fills up the yard kinda deal with in the first minute or so. Could it be where this car sat for so long. The oil had gas in it i could smell it. and the gas that was in the car before i drained it was ALE colored and the smell almost made me gag. It didnt not smell like fuel. could it be that the motor could be tryin to burn out the rest of that old oil and what i would say is bad gas? i thought about the injector sticking how could i check that
