smoke!! cursed smoke!!
well....started my car today, around 3pm ET. soon as it started it was fine. blipped the gas a couple times to help it out and white smoke came out. after i let it warm up, i took it out for a quick spin. everywhere i was though it was smoking. then when i get back to my driveway white smoke is pouring out the exhaust. so after i shut the car off, the exhaust tips are still smoking.!!! please tell me whats wrong with my car

Yeah. To fix it right. There are some gehto rig fixs out there, were you wash the engine with cleaner, then put block sealer in it. But I wouldn't try that unless you are really desperate to drive the car, and hurting for money....

I wish I was driving!
Does the exhaust smell sweet?
Sounds like blown coolant rings/cracked block... has the engine been overheated recently?
Do a search for blown coolant seals; you'll get plenty of feedback.

try cranking it with the EGI fuse pulled for 10 seconds or so before starting it. then start it up. that makes my car smoke a whole lot less when it is cold, it doesn't have a problem once the engine warms up after like 10 minutes of driving. not a smoking problem anyway, just the blown coolant seal.

yea it definitly sounds like a coolant seal. To be 100% sure, open ur radiator cap (when its cold of course) and have someone crank over the engine for you. If you coolant starts overflowing out of the fill hole and you get some bubbleing, it means you indeed blew a coolant seal. But hey, look at the bright side, you can get that port job you always wanted :P:

okay....well i just did the start car in the morning and take off the radiator cap thing. result: no overflow nor air bubbles. and plus there wasnt any smoke. just the usual puff right after you start it. i just still dont get why it smoked so much one day...then fine the next.

Never question the self-fix Jedi, only accept that the ship is running today and brace for the other shoe to drop. Save your credits, young Jedi...You'll need them.

I'd start saving for a rebuild, I had the exact same thing happen to me a few years ago, It smoked once and awhile then after a few months the engine went to the crapper. I hope your luck is better

can the kinked oil line have anything to do with it? because the oil return line from the turbo looks like its pinched. im guessing the oil is being pushed back up and come out the exhaust.

Does this smoke have a bluish tint? Thats oil. Sometimes if you don't really pay attention to oil burning it can be confused for white.
White = coolant or ATF
Blue = oil
Black = running rich
