help i got white smoke coming out of my 91 n/a fc3s exaust pipes...anyone know why that would happen

 

Specifically, when is it smoking (idle, decel, accel, ect)? What color is the smoke? Is there any noticable smell when smoking?

 

Startups will produce smoke in humid or cool environments while condensation burns off. This is normal.

However you should not be seeing continuous white smoke. Get behind the car and smell the smoke. Is it sweet smelling? Or more like burnt oil? Are you having to refill the coolant often?

 

My 1991 vert has smoke during hard runs and high revving up shifts from the oil control seals. It will smoke if you hold the idle at 4,500 rpm.
