Smells like GAS

It smells like gas from the inside of my car. Ive heard stories about the pulsation damper going out. How do i check if its bad? I have new injectors and the air pump removed cause of my rb exhaust. can the air pump being removed cause the inside of my car to smell like gas? its so sickening i smell like i just sprayed myself with gas perfume but it doesnt smell inside the engine bay. any ideas?

DAMMIT move to 2nd gen tech please >__<

what do you expect when you take the cat off and install an RB exhaust!
really!,I can come in the house and I don't want anyone to light up around me,as I am afraid that I may Spontaneously Combust!
Of course you are gonna smell like fuel, the car doesn't fully burn the gas anyways, and emits fuel fumes and Spits Freakin Fire out the exhaust!..
Would you expect Este Lauder?
Get a GOOD cologne,,,and forget about trying to change the smell of the car!

My NA had that smell (running straight pipe) but I found a non-existent gasket. I used to reeeek all the time.
Ever since my swap, I don't notice the smell on me or in my car. Could be that I'm used to it or that you have an exhaust leak like I did.

But, styx is probably right hahaha

I gutted my cats due to not working, I dont smell no fuel. Same as no cats. I would assume it shouldnt smell that bad if at all. Exhaust smell, yes, but not gas.

Yeah, it shouldn't reek like fuel with an open exhaust. If it does, and you have confirmed no leaks (jump the fuel pump check connector and turn the key to RUN to operate the fuel pump without starting the car...then check for leaks along all the lines), start with a simple tune up. If you've mounted the AFM unlevel, level it back out. Plugs, wires, have the injectors professionally cleaned, set the TPS, make sure closed loop is working.

Also, check the trunk seal as well as tail light gaskets.

I get an awkward smell on me after standing near my idling car. It's an 'exhausty' smell... I'd expect it from a modified car with emissions removed.
