Had a friend drive my car today, and got some weird burning smells coming from it. Here's the story:

Normally I drive the car very gently until it hits operating temperature. My friend revved it a few times, after starting it up, and drove it around for a bit. Smelled a lot of gasoline right there at the time, and after a while noticed some sort of burning smell coming from the engine bay. Checked around, no leaks whatsoever...anyone know what it could be?

 

oil burn off..is my guess..usually happens after some spirted driving
