Single dial AFC

Can the single dial Apexi afc adjust the fuel curve for multiple rpm ranges, or is it changed by a constant percentage through the entire range? Here is an a example of what I'm asking about

Im not positive, but just by looking at the fact that it only has one dial I would doubt you can change it at different rpms.

OMG that must be the very first one???? the oldest one I've seen has 5 or so *****.

I'm sure you can get the blue screen S-afc's for $200 or less now. I wouldn't pay $2 for that one. let alone use it.

I'd buy it, but not for anything over $50.

For a collector's peice, that is.

heh, guess I'll take that as a recommendation against it. I'm looking for something cheap to hold me over until I get an lt8. Think I'll just get one with the five dials, and use the hundred dollar difference between it and the blue screen one for some dyno time.

Hell, you can get a 1st gen AFC cheap nowadays - just get one! You can always sell it for what you bought it for later. Not to mention you can get a little tuning experience under your belt that will come in handy when you have the Microtech.

Don't bother with it - it's a waste of time.&nbsp Besides I've heard a lot of people who had problems with that seller...

The original AFC (which you see) has only one ****.&nbsp It'll adjust fuel across the entire RPM with the twist of the ****.

There is also an AFC II, which I forgot the details of but add that to your history.

Both units did not officially crack the US market.

When A'PEXi started in the US, the Super AFC, was the first of the AFC line to be offered officially in the US.&nbsp This is the one with the 5 *****.&nbsp Get at least this one if you want good control over your fuel delivery.

The Super AFC was succeeded by the S-AFC, which is the blue screen stuff you see nowadays.&nbsp The S-AFC II is the current iteration of the AFC family.
