RB exhaust and header are replacing the terribly blown stock exhaust and stock NA manifold, car will be back on the road after a 3 year hiatus, maybe we can pull a couple more ponies out from under the bonnet!

PS. to those who told me I'd last a week before I came crawling back... The car is still NA Where's my cookie?

For all the comments about sticking na, I like being n/a

No 2k turbo setups, intercoolers, blowoff valves, and what not

Thumb up to you

Did not read the whole thread, but I don't think a car not being on the road for 3 years counts.

would carbs help N/A a little bit? I like these threads. Since I have a N/A, and plan to rebuild soon, it helps to know what I can do to keep my car reliable, and have a little bit of power(not much for my taste). I can't afford to be addicted to boost yet.

All I have to say is I would rather have a NA over turbo due to the fact I don't want to ruin my beautiful rotary. Sure, the power if a big difference, but having the fastest car isn't the coolest damn thing in the world.

I love powerful cars, don't get me wrong. But people think that having a car that does circles around a Veyron must mean you're a total badass.

You give me and my NA hope.

Going with a more reasonable clutch, (why in the world did I ever think 6 puck would be fun?) and a 9 lb flywheel. After looking on the forum and youtube for a while I couldn't find a single thread with video or youtube video comparing stock flywheel to lightweight aftermarket....

So I am going to try and take a video this weekend of before and after. Will try to get two cameras at the same time to show pedal being pressed and tach simultaneously, both in neutral and in gear at WOT.

I am curious to see actual differences rather than judge by seat of the pants dyno eg. "oh wow feels like i am faster now!"

Dyno day is coming up soon as well hopefully so we can see if motor ends up breaking 190hp, we were very close last time at 186 and with a better tune/not blown exhaust it might be the ticket! :-)

Current engine setup is same as the original that we posted dyno on

https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-128/tii-na-streetport-dynoed-186whp-482741/

only real changes that would affect power that were made recently were exhaust and I believe we did some work on TB since last dyno... and car has been retuned...

I've got a T2 now, after first having a turbo, then having an N/A..... so my 3rd seven, 2nd turbo, lol. For what its worth, I am saving up to get an N/A for a DD. Currently my T2 is my DD and while I LOVE the boost and the power, with the added maintenance, the hunger for more power, and the gas that the turbo drinks up it's really hurting my wallet. But that's what you get, you have to pay to play.

So kudos to you, I loved my N/A and cant wait to get another one for its more "potential" bulletproof reliability..... but the turbo is still going to be around for when I absolutely need to get across town in 20 minutes, the spirited weekend drives, and the occasional track time.
