Question Serious question about injector sizing!!

I'm Running a ported 13B-RE with 9.7:1 rotors. Now obviously this setup requires much less fuel because of the high compression, but I'm currently running 550cc primaries and 1680cc secondaries. Roughly how many pounds of boost can I push before maxing out the injectors?? Honest answers only, no smartass remarks!!
Regards,
Brian
P.S.: REMEMBER, this is for HIGH COMPRESSION ROTORS, not the typical 9:1 rotors

You're wrong on this assumption.
Please do your homework before asking the other questions, cause you're starting on a false assumption in the first place.

The reason why I stated this is because when I used the old microtech settings for the previous engine that was in it, which was a series 5 turbo II that was ported, I had to take alot of fuel out to get the same afr's that it used to have with the previous engine with 550cc primaries. With this new engine, it was running soo rich, it wouldn't even stay running, let alone even starting. My only other source of info for saying this is from talking to Judge ITO about the high compression turbo setup. Thats all.

I know this is relative, but overall, how many lbs. of boost can I push it to before maxing out the 550/1680 combo? Looking to push 85% injector duty cycle. Even for 9:1 rotors then, how many psi of boost? Is this also relative to the size of the turbo?

you'll be looking at about 500 CFM if you are still running a stock AFM. if there is none you could push upwards of 700CFM.

The 13B-RE never came with an AFM. I am running a Microtech LT-8 as well as using a Walbro fuel pump. I'm also using the stock RE twins as of now.

Let me clarify. I don't want to go anywhere past 85% IDC. Looking to run 16lbs. on the street, and then 20-22lbs on race gas.

depending on your turbo, you should be fine with those numbers. the only thing to watch for is your afr's going a little lean just before the secondaries open.

in my case (550 & 1000) I max out at 14 lbs. I just finish instaling 1000 on primary. Next week I will start it an start tunning.
