Series 5 turbo TPS Adjustment with Rtek chip Mod request?
Im having trouble starting the diagnostic process of the throttle position sensor (TPS) my 89-91 has the RTEK chip mod that disengages the Cold-Start process. apparently they is 3 adjustment screws i need to Mess with as follow: the #1 is called Nut adjustment screw
the #2 is Throttle stop screw (driverside fender) and the #3 another stop screw (passenger side fender).
my car dies when my foot is off the gas pedal only my guys,,. so what adjustment screw do i mess with?
is it the Stop screws number #2 or #3 that i need to mess with Only?
the FSM said that the series 5 has a throttle position auto-adjust system built in the ECU so im confused if i just skip #1
What would you adjust if you had the Rtek chip thanks
