I can't downshift to second, or shift into it at all unless I'm in first going to second. It just grinds until I stop the car. Please help ASAP.

 

Does it also grind going into third when you shift in high rpms? Your second to third gear ratio could be going out. Either that or your trying to go into second at a too high speed or rpm.

No it's not too high of RPM it just started doing it today. I've had the car for a while now.

 

Try double clutching when downshifting. That is what I do, because my 2nd gear synchro is bad.

 

I did, still grinds like mad hell.

 

I really need some help with this, anyone?

 

your syncros are bad try changing the fluid perferable to redline synthetic but ne change at this point will help and just try to double clutch and rev match as much as you can other than that baby it till you can get it fixed at the shop
