HOLY CRAP the price!
btw, does anyone actually notice a difference with these things? I understand they wont boost power, but they will deliver cooler air, but to what extent?

From what I've read and been told, they'll only bring in air while the headlight is down (common sense kinda thing). I've also read that the amount of air a vented headlight cover brings in is minimal....but I'm kinda new to all this so take my words with a grain of salt.
I'm looking at a couple pics from Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook of a guy with a supercharger who built a cold air box around his cone filter and then modded his FTP lens by putting 3 holes in it. Of course he's also using a vented headlight cover.
Unfortunately the 2 pics don't offer much technical how-to. I assume he cut into the frame behind the headlight and FTP to allow air in. I talked to a bodyshop and was told the frame could be perforated to allow airflow and that it wouldn't affect the structural strength.
If you'd like I can scan the page and try to post it...but the pics are small and I doubt it would turn out well.
