is it safe to add 2 cycle oil now in every fill?

Im not sure if my OMP is still working, so my question is: Is it safe to start adding 2 stroke oil now in every gas fill? I am hoping that my OMP is still working but i dont want to take any chances so I want to premix now just to be safe.

Kinda overkill, but shouldnt hurt anything. Why do you suspect a bad OMP? S4 OMPs arent very prone to failure.

I'd worry more about your Oil Injectors not working rather than the mechanical OMP.

I found 2 of my 4 OI's not working which ended up being blocked off along with the OMP. Since than, I've been premixing and haven't thought about It since.

ive been thinking about doing this to, but what kind of oil do you use? an how much do you put in?

ive heard also that premix is good because it doesnt cause carbon build up an burns cleaner also.

also do you just pour it in ur gas tank? or do premix then put it in. i say this because i have a 2stroke dirt bike an you premix it in a gas tank an shake the **** out of it.
i would think by just pouring it in the tank then filling up wouldnt mix it enough.

You wanna use TC-w3 cerified 2 stroke oil. This is what I was told. Something about it burning off properly if I remember correctly. Anyone care to elaborate?

I'm not positive, but I think it just means it fuel injection worthy, not positive though. 2 stroke oil does burn much cleaner...You put the gas in after the oil, that way it mixes, then also, just driving, sloshes it around in the tank enough. On my 13BT rebuild, I'm going to stick with the omp though.

Is is safe to run omp and premix at the same time??

I been following up with the premix threads but i can't find a diffinit answer for my question. Here is the question is it alright to run premix and omp at the same time?? Does the premix mess up cats?? And what brand of premix can it use? I saw some premix oil at pep boys and the label said i can use it with Fuel injection engine so does that mean i can use that in the rx7?? If any one can answer these question that would be great!! Hopefuly i am getting my FC tomorrow. Very excited
